The Arowana PCI Express SSD board is the fastest SSD board on the market. It can have x16 or x8 PCI express upstream interface for connection to the motherboard. The Arowana PCI Express SSD board incorporate up to eight independent x4 PCI express Gen 3 1TB SSDs (optionally four). The operating system recognizes each SSD as an individual hard disk and can combine them in RAID0 to gain maximum performance.
The SSD board is a half-height half-length standard PCI Express Gen 3 board and occupied space equal to standard one-slot PCI express board. It has rugged 2U design and operate in industrial temperature rate, that make this type of SSD board unique for industrial and automotive markets.
